    I think you look for the 1941 over the DOLL in DOLLAR

    @Dowell jerry L
    It has to be a 1970 S Proof Quarter
    You have a 1970 D Business Strike

    Your Quarter is normal

    Easy, look at the label on the TPG Slab.

    The coin you're referencing is a unique "error" that almost certainly had some help from a mint employee. If your coin isn't the discovery piece that was authenticated by a TPG, then you don't have it.

    Please avoid YouTube and Strike it Rich with Pocket change sites. Many (Most?) are just click bait filled with incorrect information, incomplete stories, and significant mistakes. All they do is confuse new collectors :banghead:

    It's a unique error too as it was "printed" :)

    excerpt from article
    "A printing error by the U.S. Mint could cost one lucky buyer $35,000. USA TODAY"

    For those still reading, coins are not printed. Paper money is printed. Coins are stamped/minted.

    Follow the money, Even the smallest bank has surveillance cameras at each clerk, why can't the mint stop this ? Or maybe it buys cheap publicity. The science that this could happen even once is about the same as life being on the moon , two or more, the moon really is cheese. Since it must be true as it is slabbed, $50 would be my limit.

    Just because someone was asking $35,000 doesn’t mean they actually sold it for that. The stupid media will run a story on anything as long as it will draw clicks.

    Any idea if it actually sold?

    It definitely wasn't a Mint error. And to have another just like it, would entail someone actually lining the coin up exactly the same on the die. With a coin press striking 100 times a minute, I wouldn't want to be that guy.

  18. Well y don't u Google it ur self then u will know about what's going on with this quarter
