I just now bought this very cool/scarce 1969 Canadian off-center quarter. CCCS Graded Canadian AU-58. You hardly ever see these. I pounced on it for $74.00. Says $90.00 in Canadian dollars.
It's not off centered because all of the devises are visible. It looks like a broad struck error. Check to see if the reeding is missing.
Good buy at that price. They are not scarce by any means for that date, but most are circulated with scratches - you have a nice example there.
I will check it when it gets to me. It is on its way to me now in the mail. I do agree that it is a broad strike as well.
Even it being a broad strike I like how far off it is. What percentage do you all think it is off ? 10-15% off center ?
