1968 Penny (no Mint Mark) is this DD ???

    Looks to me like a worn die. Wait for others (remember, it's Christmas).

    I don't see any doubling, but I am not an expert on doubling. I do have some experience with pennies, however I don't see anything that stands out as important.

    Abe, I increased the image size and there seems to be something going on around the 9,6 and 8 in the date 1968. As I stated , I am not an expert on doubling (or anything else for that matter) so please allow time for a more experienced member to look at your coin. It could be nothing more than what is often referred to as machine doubling, or die deterioration.

    Not a Doubled Die variety.. As stated just a Worn Die Strike

    No Mint Mark means it was minted at the Philadelphia Mint
