I have my 1964 proof set inspected and Kennedy has the accented hair (I love the story behind it!). Since this special set also contains a pointed 9 dime, I think it is fairly rare and valuable. Am I right?
It's all going to depend on the grade that comes in on the accented hair Kennedy Proof half dollar and the pointed 9 dime. This assumes you'll break up the set and send those coins in to be slabbed/graded independently. Right now on eBay the spaghetti hair Kennedy proofs are retailing (BIN price) for $58.00 in PCGS PR64 up to $400 in NGC PR68. As for the pointed 9 dime, they're going from $39.95 raw up to $125 in NGC PR67. Wholesale you'll get a little less. Offer them to a dealer...even less.
