1964 half dollar error how much is it worth and is this an error or not?

  1. So I got a 1964 Kennedy half dollar because I have always wanted one and it finally arrived! But I am not sure after studiously studying this coin if there are some errors on here but I think there is some doubling on the I in liberty no mint mark (don’t know if that’s important or not) and some lamination errors on the H of half dollar so here are some pictures!

Your half dollar was minted in Philadelphia which is why there is no mint mark. The marks on the H and the I are just damage.

Not seeing any doubling and no mint mark means it was minted at Philadelphia. The H appears to have a huge gash not a lamination or errors just damage.Even in uncirculated condition 1964 jfk's are very common, not that much over melt.

If I might ask, what did you pay for it?
