You should definitely do research before sending your coins in. You can use pcgs.com to verify your coins and it tells you all about them. The coin you sent is worth no more than $5. It is a simple filled die.

I do hope that you received a gift certificate from PCGS to cover the grading fee because the value of this coin would not even cover it.

Believe it or not PCGS charged me $128 to grade that coin in fees

The only reason why I did it because my girl kept pressuring me to thinking it was something lol

Tell your girlfriend to get a job and pay for them herself!

If you're going to spend money on anything coin-related, it should be this...

I agree- it's a filled die error- not a very significant one, too. Before you send coins to PCGS, look up their mintage, value, varieties, etc. or confer with the CoinTalk community so you don't end up losing over $120.

Live and learn. Stick around and post photos of both sides of your coin with your question or comments before your next submission.

    Welcome to CT.

Not just me but the majority of the CT members can. Most of us have been around coins for 30 plus years.
