I know this one's pretty beat but I was interested in the shape of it. It looked like a broad struck to me, and I also contemplated the potential of a washing machine/dryer coin, but the surfaces on the front and back don't seem to match up like they normally would, along with only part of the obverse being worn around the edges.
Studying the minting process is part of the learning curve to collecting errors. After knowing how coins are minted, you can ask yourself questions like: How could this coin been stuck at the mint? If the answer is: It couldn't, then you know it isn't an error. Coins are struck in a collar and while a few might be enlarged in diameter, yours isn't, therefore your coin couldn't have been a mint error, so post mint damage.
Yours looks like a misaligned die (MAD). Nothing special/ no extra value but would need to see the reverse to confirm. Read this for broad struck https://www.error-ref.com/broadstrikes/
