Absolutely a keeper..... Anytime I can see the all the vertical lines at the top of the wheat stalk, it becomes a keeper to me.

There's a small, but very common, die chip
on the right side (of the coin's) Wreath stalk.

The correct numismatic terminology would be Doubled Die.. Not double die
    Big difference!

Wheat cents are no longer made as of 1958. It is probably a good idea to hold on to them for that reason. Sorry, but 1955 is not a rare date - it is pretty common. Also, it is not a DDO (doubleD die). There is probably a better chance of you winning the lottery that finding one of those.

There is no difference between the term double die and doubled die. Both terms have been used forever. There is no big difference. They are the same thing. Correcting folks for using double die is just wrong.
Some of the biggest names in the business still use either term without a second thought. They use either in person and in print. Yes the term doubled die is proper English and is being used more and more but either are still correct. Everyone understands the meaning. Call it slang if you wish but there is no reason to correct others over it.

Whoa. I had never read that particular rant before. Pretty cool. But just to be certain, "double dive" is still wrong, isn't it?

No, it's not a doubled die. That's a small die chip on the right wheat ear.

No doubled die, no cud. Looks like a small die chip perhaps.
