okey guy I bought a lot of wheat pennies and in there was "silver tone" wheat penny and my first sought was "is just a 1943 P" which I do already have. At the end of going through if about 50 coins I went back to this "silvering" wheat penny then I notice that the date is 1953 then my second thought was "just a unplated zinc penny" but days after I noticed a copper tone on the side just like the dimes look. On pictures I compared with a 1943 penny, a regular copper penny and a dime (same color and shine of a dime)
But it is not A Cent struck on a Dime Planchet would be smaller. Most likely plated as thousands were in classroom science experiments during that time.
Fortunately I leave in Colorado Springs, CO so I will try to get an appointment with the ANA curator.
