    Hi,
CONGRATULATIONS!! A wide range, I would venture to say at least $800.00 and a little more than $1000.00 could be reasonable.
If it were me, I'd check out a few reputable error dealers before I took a crack at Ebay. Not that Ebay would be a problem. You just may get a good offer without Ebay and you could keep more in your pocket that way :) !
    Again,
    Nice Coin!!

WOW....I'm gald it was real!!!...that is a first time for me that I have heard of a 11 cent coin struck on a silver planchet!!!!

Write Fred Weinberg--he has been nice to me at writing back fast...maybe he will even make a offer.

What a nice coin, and any serious Lincoln Cent Collector would be proud to have. I would give 8 to 9 hundred easy for that coin, I would put it on ebay and put it in the ERROR COIN category as well as the Lincoln Cent Catagory. Good Luck

I dont know!!!!!! Guess its silver.. Wasn't the dimes silver back then???? Has anyone seen a silver lincoln on a dime planchet before,,,other than a more mordern clad one????????/

Yep--up to 1964 the dime was silver

Nope but I would say that is because they are more $$$ than a clad 11 cent coin....the ones I have seen haven't made $1000.....

Congrats! BigD, that's quite a find. Thanks for letting us all be a part. I'm not good with the guestimates on value, so I'll leave it to MikeDiamond.

Just a thought, you may want to contact the folks at CONECA (http://conecaonline.org/) and see what they know about silver "11 cent" errors. I'm betting your coin would definitely be posted and credited to you in the recent finds section ;)

Very nice find! A true cinderella story. If I didn't see your previous thread and this photo, I'd think it was a fish tale.
