I have a 1947-S wheat with a very weak MM. Is this a common error for this date? Is this a coin with any value besides just to stow away in a flip? 47S weak S obv.JPG 47S weak S rev.JPG Thanks again everyone.

All I see is a normal circulated wheatie.

Could be a cud from "7" to rim.

No the mark from 7 to rim is just a gouge unfortunately LOL. The "S" though is weaker than other "S" mm I have but, like I said that may be common just checking. Thanks everyone!

    Nope!

Agreed! You can see that the gouge has put a small notch in the "7".

Numb, a flip would be worth more than this coin.

Just had to read the whole thread in case I missed something. What the heck has this to do with this thread? Did you reply to the wrong post?
