Is there any value with this coin? Here's the description:

A BEAUTIFUL UNCIRCULATED MINI GOLD WALKING LIBERTY HALF DOLLAR. THE COIN CAME FROM A LOT THAT INCLUDED COINS WITH VARIOUS LEVELS OF GOLD. THESE COINS WERE PRODUCED FROM 1966 TO THE PRESENT,AND ARE KNOWN TO BE FROM 8K TO 24K GOLD. SOME WERE PLATED 22K OVER LOWER GRADE GOLD AND OTHER NON GOLD METAL ALLOY.

I would suggest that you pass on that opportunity and others like it.

    Ditto.

Now, for $5 if you must have a golden colored coin in this design, I'd go for it, otherwise I don't see the point.

That listing does raise an interesting question, though -- where are all the circulated "mini gold" imitation coins? :)

It's not a coin. It is a privately minted token that mimics the design of a coin. The value of the gold plate is nil.

    Not so!

They frequently use as much as 2-3 cents worth of gold for the plating.
