Not sure if it is aloud to post links, but I think it is http://www.hsn.com/cnt/prod/default.aspx?webp_id=1594462&web_id=1594462&sz=0&sf=co&dept=co0007&cat=&subcat=&gs=&attr=&prev=hp!sf!dept&ocm= I see at the bottom it says that someone cleaned these coins on a review, would hsn do that?
Not as badly overpriced as most HSN coins, but that "retail" is undoubtedly based on MS coins, and that's not what they are sellilng: Using a resolution too low to be enlarged to the maximum size permitted by the site certainly doesn't add to my comfort. But then of course no more than one buyer could get the coins actually pictured. Not only would they, they obviously did. After all, it makes them shinier and more attractive to people who know nothing about coin collecting.
Yes, just as the reviewers said. Indeed they are. Do a forum search (button at the top of the page) on the subject of "cleaning coins" and you'll find a bunch of threads.
