    Hi all,

Wanted to check if this was a three legged Buffalo Nickel or just PMD. Thank you.

Needs better photos, but looks like PMD. I believe the only year that had a 3 legged Buffalo was 1937 and it was the back front leg.

There is a 1936D 3 1/2 leg, but that was Denver.

the 1937 D, was the left front, not the back leg.

So there is no possibility that this could be a three legged Buffalo Nickel missing the back leg?

Everything is well defined when I look at it. Any way I can get that brown off?

Trust us, the back leg is there, just hidden by all the environmental damage is has incurred.

Glass-bead sandblasting work well. leaves a nice matte finnish.
