A 1928 G bill series. Old, well circulated but nice. You normally don't find G series bills. What a nice gift from dad.

The year on your bill is 1928. A G series bill means it had been changed 7 times since the date of issue.

Typically it would be the signatures of Treasurer of the US and the Secretary of the Treasury. The $2 United States Notes, 1928 through 1928G were printed April 1928 through January 1953.

A change could be anything but like Steven said, it's typically the signatures. A 1969 series one dollar bill is fairly easy to get all four changes and it's just the signatures.
