If it’s a circulation find, there’s a thread here for that. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/different-circulation-finds.272056/page-11
Thank you. It was my dads. It was given to him by his uncle, who was a coin and stamp dealer. Its mine now.
A 1928 G bill series. Old, well circulated but nice. You normally don't find G series bills. What a nice gift from dad.
The year on your bill is 1928. A G series bill means it had been changed 7 times since the date of issue.
When you say " changed 7 times since the date of issue " , are you talking about the design, the style, or the ?? Thanks
Typically it would be the signatures of Treasurer of the US and the Secretary of the Treasury. The $2 United States Notes, 1928 through 1928G were printed April 1928 through January 1953.
A change could be anything but like Steven said, it's typically the signatures. A 1969 series one dollar bill is fairly easy to get all four changes and it's just the signatures.
