Well... That isn't a 1916. The Memorial reverse started in 1959. If it were a 1916 the reverse would have wheat ears. It appears your cent spent some time in the road. The date has been altered while it was being run over.
I can see a little piece of metal jutting out of the top of the 1, which is a 7 that's been run over. As @Randy Abercrombie pointed out, the memorial reverse is impossible for 1916, it must be 1976! The lack of a mint mark also doesn't add any value to the coin--it means that it was minted in Philadelphia. The only time a P mint mark was added to a Lincoln cent was in 2017 to commemorate the Philadelphia mint's 225th anniversary. The condition is rough, lots of nicks. Worth 1 cent.
It's a damaged 1976 Lincoln Cent. A 1916 would have wheat ears on the reverse, not the Lincoln Memorial. Welcome to CT.
