Please Post the Photograph and also look at the back of a coin look for word " COPY " this coin must be a replica not the real one. I think the last record sale of 1913 nickel is 5 $ Million (Jay Parino after he bough it 1.5 Million Then Next auction sales is 1.8 M then 3.75 and the last is 5 Million.:thumb:

How did that 1913 circulate for 98 years and get so worn down, like nobody was looking for 1913's ?

How did you obtain the coin? If authentic, this is surely an amazing discovery! :)

There is zero chance that your coin is a genuine 1913 Liberty Nickel. ZERO.

There are five known 1913 Liberty Nickels in existance and all are accounted for. Two are on display at the ANA Museum in Colorado Springs. (A third one was on display at the ANA Museum but it was sold last year for almost $4 million.)

Have any of you ever held a 1913 Liberty Nickel?

    I have.

My guess is this is someone with a little tooling experience's cruel joke. It would be pretty neat if it were real, however.
