1903 upside down indian head US penny or reverse

    Hi Guys,
    How are you?
    Im new to this site...
    I got an 1903 Indian Head penny with the "one cent" side is upside down the "indian head side" or they are in opposite direction...
    anybody got that?

    All US coins are minted in "coin" orientation, with the top of one side opposite the bottom of the other.

    not quite all, but nearly so. It is true that Indian head cents are in coin alignment.

    To clarify the upside down thing. If you take all US coins and turn them over from top to bottom, the coin will always be right side up. If you turn the coin from the side to side the reverse will be upside down.
    Some coins are noted for being out of wack rotation wise. Mercury Dimes are noted for having many of them with a slight to very noticable tilt rear rotation wise. Someone once told me it is not the reverse that is tilted but actually it is the obverse that gets tilted on coins.
    Regarless try turning the coin end over end.
