    hi ,

i have an 18th century Spanish Doubloon .I don't know much about the coin ,but i was told it is a
    Shipwreck coin.
I am kinda broke and have decided to sell it. Any opinion(s) on the quality and value of the coin would be appreciated.

    thanks

Looks like a cast fake, which if it is, not worth but a few bucks.

The pitting on the coin looks like that of a cast coin.

Yeah but shipwreck coins have the exact same look due to the saltwater damage.

Small problem though, the coin has the design of a 1736 Lima 8 escudos (a gold coin), and the coin is not gold. It's a fake.
