Hello, I'm wondering what y'all think of this shield nickel I recently found in my grandpa's collection. Is this the "rule breaker" variety? Or some other variety? Seems like there's definitely some visible doubling especially on the 8 and a little bit under the 3. There's also a strange double circle mark to the right of the 3, does anyone know what that is? Would appreciate hearing opinions on it. Thanks.

It does not appear to match known specimens of the coin. So possible die ding although it looks quite shallow. The double ring mentioned is corrosion which radiated from one active area at some time. IMO, Jim

It's a Liberty nickel, not a shield nickel.
