1858 Flying Eagle - Small Letters or Large Letters?

    Yours is a Small Letters, the quickest and easiest pick up point is the AM separation. If it's separated like yours, its a Small Letters, if they're touching, its a Large Letters. Of course, this isn't the only difference but for quick identification, it's the best.

    Thanks! When the coin is well worn, it becomes more difficult to be certain of the separation.

    Let's see the reverse. There are two reverses, high and low leaf.

    But anyway that actually means there are four die pair combinations on these 1858s. Just something to note...
