Hi everyone. I am new here and was hoping for some expertise on some old coins I found while cleaning out the house. I was given these coins about 26 years ago when I was in primary school from a friends father who was originally from Austria, but immigrated to Australia.

On one side it says 'crescunt concordia res parvae 1793' and on the other 'MO : NO : ARG : CON FOE : BELG : PRO : TRAT'. It is not magnetic, weighs about 25.2 grams, diameter of 40mm and 2.4mm thick.

I believe it is a Silver Rider Ducaton - Province of Holland? Am I correct and what would it be worth? Thanks

You already nailed this one. Try looking at eBay 'Completed Listings' or old auction records to get an idea of value.
It seems like you pretty well know what you're doing, already.

Given the look of the coin, and the weight you report, I suspect this one is a fake. It should weigh almost 33 gm.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the fake verdict.
Do not have the exact type (yours pretends to be from Utrecht) but here an example of what a real Zilveren Rijder looks like:

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I have to agree with the others - this looks like a poor quality cast counterfeit.

Gutted, I thought these were definitely genuine after holding for 26 years. Ah well, at least they were given to me for free
