    Hey everyone :)

Just wanted to share my 1723 Hibernia Wood's Half Penny :D It has a die crack on the obverse from about 9 to 10 o'clock, and a planchet chip (pre-mint) from about 2 to 3 o'clock :) If anyone knows its variety, I'm anxious to know, thanks! :hammer:

    scottishmoney Buh bye

It is the George II "dreadlock" variety:D

I bought one of these when I was a kid, it was my first colonial coin - and my oldest coin for a long time.

Canna get over how Hibernia has those long claw paws though, a bit unsettling IMHO.

Thanks! This was actually my first Hibernia Wood's. I got it about a year ago for a pretty decent price :)
