$1 Dollar bill off centered

Discussion in 'Paper Money' started by Roberto G. Wantland, Apr 7, 2018.

  1. I have a 2009 one dollar bill that in the front is way off centered top, bottom and sides, in the back, top and bottom edges are just about the same but the sides are really way off Bill from the Bank of Chicago G.
The 2009 from the bank of Dallas K is barely off front and back.
Is this normal in all $1 dollar bills?

Need a photo. If the margin is wide enough that you can see the edge of the next bill, then you have something. If not, no.
And condition is a big factor. If it's all worn and wrinkled, that kills it.

  4. Do not show edge of other bill, one edge is very wide and opposite edge is very thin.
    Thanks.

It must involve something from the next bill showing to be worth any premium. Without a photo I am assuming you have a very minor off registration issue meaning the electronic eye that tell the machine when to cut the bill was slightly off and needed adjustment. This is very common.
