That actually looks like a phone number!
    You posted too many numbers
Look at it again.. Serial #'s are 8 numbers not 10

    Let me help you -

I am puzzled as to why you would think it was worth more than a dollar.

You Tube will tell you this is a "trinary". And that it has value.
It doesn't. There are many posts here with links, that will tell you what serial
numbers to look for. Google "Fancy Serial Numbers".

Go on ebay and you will see the most ridiculous listings for almost fancy serial numbers.. Suckers go for that sort of thing all the time.

I don’ t understand why you folks always say that trinary bills have no value. I collect trinity bills from different years and FRB’s. It is great fun to try and put a set together. Now I agree that one will not find a value for these in any listing, but to other collectors of the strange and weird it does have values and is sellable and tradeable. Please remember that a hobbie is not necessarily for profit, it could just be for the pure enjoyment it gives you.

Of course you can collect what you like, everyone is for that.
But what you get here is honesty. And in the real world, a trinary note is a face
value spender. If you want to put a value on it that's between you and your friends.
A dealer will not pay a premium for it.
Of course it is not always about money, but the original post asks if there is any extra value added to their trinary note. Which has been answered. No it does not have any extra value.

I collect low # star notes, but I see people buying binary and trinary notes, it's really up to the collector, it is a hobby, and those notes are less expensive.

five numbers and up are valuable to liars poker players. Your bill is a curiosity unless you find someone who appreciates it. Satisfy your curiosity by putting an auction on ebay for one dollar and shipping. You will learn exactly what it is worth when you find the next one. If you have a generous giving nature come back to this post and tell us all what it sold for.

I have sold a few 666 dollar bills on ebay and they go fairly quickly. As a matter of fact, there is a repeat customer who snatches them up as soon as he sees them.
Make sure you figure in your 12.9% (ebay and PayPal fees) along with shipping, envelope and .30 cent PayPal charge or you will be giving the dollar away (if it sells!

I think I will put a couple of 666 (devil notes) and 777 (lucky notes) up on eBay and see what happens. Even if I loose money it will tell me what some of these are worth. Thanks.

I have a Canadian note with a serial number that begins 666. It is on a "Devil Face" note, adding to its wicked evilness. I got it graded by CGA so I don't accidentally sell it as a regular Devil Face.

Auction them with a .99 starting bid - if they draw multiple bids, you'll know that somebody out there values them ;)

If you collect strictly from circulation, keep what you like and can afford. If you get it for face value, you can’t lose. However, I will caution you about paying a premium for “interesting “ notes. Notes advertised as trinaries, mixed ladders, and having a high “coolness factor” or great liars poker notes are usually not a wise investment.
